Drum roll, please! Career Step is excited to announce that we’re now offering a Computer Technician training program designed to quickly prepare students to work in the growing technology field.
This new training program includes 230 hours of curriculum, which means students can finish their training and be out in the workforce in as little as 3 months. Students will learn about hardware and software, operating systems, networking, security, operational procedures, and troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
In celebration of our new training program, we’re offering double payouts for the first 5 referral enrollments in the Computer Technician course! If one of your contacts is in those first 5, you’ll receive double your normal referral commission for that enrollment!
Here are a few important things to know about the new program:
- Secure, growing career field – The U.S. Department of Labor expects there to be over 110,000 new computer technician jobs by 2020 (that’s 18% new employment growth), and, as there are clear advancement opportunities, there will be additional open jobs as professionals move up to other positions.
- Quick, comprehensive training – Career Step’s training is designed by industry experts with years of experience in the field. The program was specifically developed to help students quickly gain the skills they need to start working, and the training can be completed in as little as 3 months.
- Workplace and CompTIA A+ ready graduates – The new Computer Technician program is primarily focused on preparing students to pass the certification exams offered by the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Students will be prepared to earn the CompTIA A+ certification immediately upon graduation, and the training program even includes certification exam vouchers (a $350 value!).
