Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, will close the application period for its scholarship for mothers who are returning to school on Thursday, April 30. This scholarship offers $2,000 to be used toward higher education at the institution of the winner’s choice.
“Education enables life-changing opportunities for individuals and families,” said Steve Tober, Career Step President and CEO. “For more than 20 years, it has been our mission to help people looking to advance their professional lives get the training needed to achieve their career goals. As an extension of that mission, we are proud to provide financial support through this scholarship for deserving women who are seeking education to improve their lives.”
The mothers returning to school scholarship offers $2,000 to be used at the university, college, or vocational school of the student’s choice. Applicants can apply at CareerStep.com/scholarships by submitting an 800- to 1000-word written or video essay on how they plan to use their education to benefit their families and communities.
“The impact of quality education is significant and far-reaching,” said Jerolyn Robertson, Career Step Vice President of Academics. “Education lifts the student, their family and their community. Our scholarship program is just one more way we show our dedication to supporting students in getting a quality education that will enrich their minds and elevate their opportunities.”
