It’s that time of year again! Another 4 months have passed, and we’ve put together a whole host of new resources just for you. We’ve pulled together an entire list for you here to make it really easy to find everything.
1. Your Referrer Webpage
Your official Career Step webpage should always be your #1 resource. Directing interested contacts to your referrer webpage ensures you receive credit for them when they enroll. We’ve recently redesigned this page to make it even more helpful.
Media tab: The navigation at the top now includes a Media page that contains many of our videos, tours, and ebooks as well as a link to the program demos and our new Career Finder Quiz. We’ve had most of these resources for a while and they’re all available in the Referral Resource Center, but now it’s easy for your contacts to find and access them all right from your page.
MyCAA tab: There’s also now a MyCAA tab at the top to make it easier for eligible military spouses to find information on this unique funding source.
You can view your page by visiting http://referral.careerstep.com/ref12070 and replacing the last 5 digits with your own Referrer ID. If you’ve forgotten your Referrer ID, email me at email@example.com, and I can look it up for you.
2. Updated Banners in the Referral Resource Center
With the recent launch of our new Career Step logo, we have updated each web banner and brochure in the Referral Resource Center with our new branding. You’ll find new copy, new images, and new sizes available for the web banners. To learn more about the new Career Step brand, check out our official press release. And let us know if there’s a specific banner you’re looking for that we’re not currently offering!
3. Introducing the Referral Dashboard
At the beginning of July, we launched the Referral Dashboard, a new resource that allows you to track your leads and enrollments each month. The dashboard is updated in real-time, so you’ll be looking at the most up-to-date information. You can access the Referral Dashboard at referral.careerstep.com/dashboard, and we even have a short introduction video.
4. New Programs
On August 1, we launched a new program—Professional Medical Coding and Billing. This program is expert designed to prepare students for the new ICD-10 code set. It was built by AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainers and a number of other experts with decades of experience teaching medical coding, and it replaces our Inpatient and Outpatient Medical Coding and Billing program as well as our older Outpatient Medical Coding and Billing course. There are new resources for this program available in the Referral Resource Center to help you start sharing this great new program with your friends!
We also launched our new ICD-10 FastTrack course. This program became officially available on September 1, and it’s designed for medical coders who’ve already completed a training program and are looking to update their skills to include ICD-10 coding. To celebrate this new course, we’re doing something a little unprecedented by offering $50 for a limited time when someone you refer enrolls in this new course even though we don’t typically offer referral bonuses for our continuing education and supplemental course. Find all the details in this recent post.
5. New Infographics to Share
Not only did we launch several new medical coding and billing programs, we also put together an infographic that organizes all of the medical coding and billing career details in a fun way. You can share the new infographic with your friends by visiting this blog post and using the SHARE THIS tools in the top right section of the post. We also published a new Back-to-School infographic that details many reasons people have for NOT returning to school in contrast to the many benefits of pursuing higher education. Be sure to share both infographics with your contacts and look for several new ones coming soon!
6. Career Finder Quiz
Finally, be sure to check out our new Career Finder Quiz! We’ve put together this short survey tool to help prospective students determine what program would be best for them. By answering a few simple questions about their goals, career preferences, and interests the Career Finder will be able to provide personalized recommendations on the best career option for that individual. Next time a contact asks what program would be best for them, refer them to the Career Finder Quiz. They can access the quiz from the new Media tab on your referrer webpage.
Hopefully all of these new resources are helpful in your referral efforts! We’re hard at work creating even more, and we’ll be sure to keep you in the know as new tools become available.
